Ottercreek Woodworks Wood Balm 2oz

Use this food safe beeswax and mineral oil paste to protect wooden surfaces like serving boards, cutting boards, salad bowls, and wood utensils. Not only will it condition the wood, and minimize food staining, it will also draw any existing stains into the wood, eventually removing them from the surface.

Instructions: Massage a thin layer of paste into the wood with hand. Allow 5-10 minutes to penetrate for normal upkeep and 12-24hrs if deep treatment is necessary. Wipe off excess. Buff with a clean cloth.

Some woods are softer and more porous than others and with normal use the wood can appear dull, become rough and show wear.

 

To further protect your board, a treatment of Ottercreek Woodworks Wood Balm is highly recommended to condition and add protection from stains and moisture. Our wood balm is made with the highest quality beeswax collected from local apiaries and is available in 2oz and 4oz sizes.

 

Cleaning your board: After use, wipe with a damp cloth and use mild soap if necessary. Dry your board immediately after wiping. A pastry scraper wells to remove any sticky debris. Never submerge your board in water. Store in a dry place away from direct sunlight. Boards with a live bark edge should be handled with care. Do not expose to direct heat or place hot times on your board.
